Higher Ground: a tribute to Stevie WonderI’ll be performing along with  Kim Massie, Theresa Payne, Lamar Harris, Jesse Gannon, Kenny DeShields, Fresh Heir, and many others at Off Broadway 8 pm on Friday, September 30. It’s a benefit for public radio station KDHX and tickets are $10.

NEW SHOW: with Lamar Harris for the RFT Showcase, June 4

C. Jay Conrod will be performing as a side man with Lamar Harris during his RFT Music Showcase appearance at the Over/Under Bar and Grill at 9:45pm, Saturday, June 4. The Over/Under is located at 911 Washington Ave. The RFT Music Showcase costs only $5, which allows you enjoy 50 musical acts spanning the entire Washington strip over the course of the day. You don’t want to miss out.

NEW SHOW: St. Louis African Arts Festival, May 28

C. Jay Conrod, along with Theresa Payne, will be bringing a taste of the Suite Soul Spot concert series to the St. Louis African Arts Festival’s main stage at 6:30pm, Saturday, May 28. This annual festival is held in the World’s Fair Pavillion in Forest Park, St. Louis, MO and is free and open to the public. Please come, shop and enjoy some great music!

NEW SHOW: Performing with Lamar Harris @ lola Friday, May 20

C. Jay Conrod will be performing with Lamar Harris, along with hip-hop band iLLPHONiCS, and emcees Thelonius Krypto and Nato Caliph at lola (downtown St. Louis, 14th & Washington) on Friday, May 20, at 10pm. It will be a crazy mash-up of genres: jazz, soul, hip-hop, rock, and more.
